Old Man

The fire is burning slowly
the glow is followed by
small explosions of burning
wood, having still water
in it's veins

The chair is moving back and forth
time to wake up old man.
Dinner

"Is it so naive to stop remembering?
You woke me up at the time
when I was young running on the fields
conquering my friendly enemies
Why did you wake me?
For a simple dinner?"

Old man
Old fool
there you sit
on a stool
Death will come
take you by the hand
take you down
on the ground
six inches below
Deeper as it goes
the grave-digger roams

Old man
Old fool
wake up
you silly fool
drunken fool
...

Remember the time you had a child?
You thought it was sloppy and wild
you dragged him to be the best
study and learn everything first

Make him rich
a doctor or a lawyer
a respected man
man of society

Have a degree at 22
become a doctor too
Now he lived his life alone
studying everything the best
learning innocent stories from the past
teaching glory's quest and how to march
parading dollar bills in his secret vault
bringing him away from the world
There child! Become a god!

"I'd rather die young and poor
then live a rich man's drunken life"
he said

Look at him now, sitting all alone
on his old wooden chair
present of his grandfather before he died
rocking back and forth
remembering himself
no that he is old
then when he was young
what a fool...
what a fool...
We are born alone
and we die alone
and we live alone
and we eat alone
and we fall asleep and wake up alone
no matter where we are
with who we are...

"Hey grandpa...
shut up...
get back to sleep...
we are trying to enjoy the comedy show on TV!"
